AEBI, JOHN WAYNE, Louisville native and
artist, passed away at his home Friday, August 29, 2008 at the age of 62.
A Navy Vietnam veteran and member for many years of the Motet
Singers, John was a prolific artist, most recently acknowledged for his
large portraiture work displayed at the Seelbach Hotel.
The youngest of 10 siblings, he is survived by his wife, Susan
Wallace Aebi; and four sisters, Ethel Ferguson, Ora Elaine "Totsie" Bisiq,
Della Meyers and Betty Whitener; 18 nieces and nephews, 40 great nieces and
nephews, and 21 great-great nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be at 6 p.m. Sunday, August 31, 2008, at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home,
3331 Taylorsville Road.
Visitation will be from 1p.m. until time of service Sunday at Highlands.
