EBERLE, DAVID A., MD, 56, of Louisville, passed away Monday at Norton Audubon Hospital. He was a native of New Albany, IN. He was a graduate of the Indiana University School of Medicine and performed his psychiatry residency at University of Louisville School of Medicine. He was a physician and a psychiatrist in private practice and had practiced urology for 17 years. He was a fellow in the American College of Surgeons, a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the Catholic Church of the Epiphany and a former member of St. Mary Catholic Church in New Albany, IN, and the Motet Singers. He is survived by his wife, the former Jane C. Longest; a son, Kyle D. Eberle; two daughters, Kristin M. Himmler (Chad) and Kassie E. Eberle; two brothers, Harold and Milton Eberle; a sister, Phyllis Robinson; a granddaughter, Breckin Joy Himmler; and many nieces and nephews. His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at the Catholic Church of the Epiphany, 914 Old Harrods Creek Rd., with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany. Visitation will be from 1-9 p.m. Thursday at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. Expressions of sympathy may be made in his name to the Catholic Church of the Epiphany.
