Highland Area Seniors Will Benefit
from Motet Singers Concert

LOUISVILLE, KY. -- Some 12,000 Highlands area senior residents will benefit when The Motet Singers perform a program of light popular music fun for all ages on Saturday, May 20, at 7:30 p.m., at St. Paul United Methodist Church. Admission is free for the show, to be held in the church’s Family Life Center, Douglass Boulevard at Bardstown Road.

A freewill offering will be collected, with 100% of the amount received directed to Highlands Community Ministries Senior Services programs. More than 25 area churches have joined together in this interdenominational effort to better serve their community.

The Outreach Program for Older Persons serves people in the Highlands area with the goal enhancing their independent living in the community.

The Adult Day Health Center provides respite for families caring for older persons, offering supervised care, individual and group activities and specialized programs for those with specific problems such as Alzheimer’s.

Each year for the last several years, The Motet Singers, now in their 52nd year of music ministry in the Louisville area, have provided a benefit program for a deserving person or program. While the group is independent, St. Paul’s has provided a rehearsal home from the very beginning.
