The Motet began in 1954 as an a cappella choir.  Directed by Dave Jones, over 500 area singers have performed in The Motet.  Performances included tours to almost every state, a performance at the White House, and appearances on  television and radio.  The Motet has performed in many local area churches and community centers.  The group has published eight CD's encompassing both religious and popular music.
